ABOUT YOUTH PROGRAM

This American Sign Language curriculum is unique in Arizona as it presents instruction thru age-appropriate songs, games and stories. As the children are introduced to the special equipment used by the deaf population, they are also taught how to safeguard their own hearing.

The history of the Deaf gives perspective to yet another awareness that has emerged in the United States. In fact, American Sign Language is the 3rd most used language in the U.S. and visualization of signed concepts enhances creative intellectual development.

Most of all, children have so much fun, they don’t even realize they are learning!
